rocky

time to live w/o internet, proper food, convenience or transport -_-

first, i guess i’ve to thank damit for waking up early on sun morn, pick me up to the airport & as well carrying the luggage frm indooroopilly to his place the nite b4. he has his new red corona born in 1982, even older than me. its called angel blossom bum ha ha.. really appreciate 4 the effort he put in.

the nite b4, i also let go of my keys to my dear home. see how clean it is i’ve made for the new tenant. i’ll miss it. my landlord bid the best farewell by a last hug. i also want to extend my appreciation to shallen, who met me for lunch at sizzler. will miss tt place coz reminded me of things i’d let go. last mention to aurey for the times in southbank & his place. it was fantastic having a close fren here.

UQ paid the whole price for our 1st week of rural orientation by putting us in this 4-star holiday village. haha.. when i arrive, i feel like im in holiday instead of studying. its a unit-to-unit caravan equipped with aircon, dining room, stove, 2 bedrooms and sofa with full-set of tv programs. there is swimming pool too. im currently living with alex, a malaysian and andrew, our buddy whom we rely on sending us daily to our classes with his classic van.

just a few things along the way. our hospital is astounding, we have our practical classes e.g. suturing, cannulation, scubbing in mater hospital. apparently, its a christian hospital; so happens it looks very much like a church as a hospital. i like the entrance to the red carpet steps, colorful window panels & ceiling design of a church. i also like the building architecture.

i guess rural life for 1st week is just pure fun. classes took up the whole day. at nite, we're either playing games or cards, watch football on tv, cook food or go by the pub to have a steak & play trivia. aah.. its funny really the games in the pub for our gang can make fools & dance so well. i hate to think rural is all fun, but no work. look out for the rest of the month, however! :)

i had a few chat with my colleagues. i guess most of them had complications with the long case. so it makes me think abt- to accept it. some frens were worried & teary even after coming out of the exams. they too decided to let it go & just wait.
do i look good in scrubs? haha.. the fact is i don't suture tt well. i find it hard to even suture on a pig's leg. god knows whether i'll be a surgeon :)

GiGi 2009 最新國語專輯"禮物" 4月16日發行, 敬請留意! dunno wt it means. but think it'll make me happy. till then, emerald :)
