just got back frm a trip to japan, wch lasted abt 7 days.. in a place depicted once as the 'land of rising sun'.

the trip offers a whole new level of feeling and experience, especially to 1st timers who've never visited the country b4. one of the reasons behind this is due to the fact.. japan, inimitable to other asian countries, is so far-advanced in its era & add onto its rich culture, it can really nick an inspiration to ur mind.

i'll share my experience of the trip. first, if you want to truly make use of it, be sure to take up a guided-package tour. i had to travel long distances by coach eveytime, just to get to places deemed as the essentials or the ought-to-visit places in japan.

this includes- tokyo's ginza, where all the exquisite world-class shops come to gather.. asakusa where there is a street of fancy shops nearby the town's temple, kyoto where the nature of autumn sceneries & ancient temples bloom, mt. fuji its ever scenic view, hakone just to get a taste of sulphur eggs, disneyland the ever fantasyland, universal studios an astounding filmmakers playground & lastly osaka, for a taste of the famous kobe beef.

during 1st day of the trip, i had to stop by sgpore. xmas decorations were already arraying itself alongside orchard road- the city din matter much, coz its still the same. wt amazed me is the new airport terminal no.3 - a huge block of shops. ter is a greenery area where koi fishes seem to hangout.

after getting by japan via the unique double-deck airbus A380, i tasted st8 the first feature of the land- its language. no matter hw many times u tried to convey in english, they still insistently reply in jap. this is the unique thing abt japan- they can live w.o. english. another thing i noticed is they're all ethically sound, very polite & well-mannered.

to be inspired, by observing ppl. the girls in japan are full-depth in their materialistic nature. at a pure age of 20, u can see most of them carrying LV bags with decorated jewels on fingernails, stylish hair & obviously elegant outfits. a no. bring with them modishly-decorated pet dogs on shopping.

as u embark onto the high-streets of ginza in tokyo, there is no say to the shopping environment. its just pure new & modern. i cant help to feel places like sgpore or hk seemed to go one step back. i can say however, unless you're rich, shopping isn't the sort of thing you want to do here. it can be 2x more exp than products.. say in sgpore.

apart frm this, there is the other face of japan wch can be inspired frm, its tradition. its well-known japan has a strong cultural belief for taoism, so temples've been built in ornamental scenery. sakura did not bloom in winter, but ter are these red leaves wch form a picturesque array blanketing the nature's forests. mt. fuji offers a panoramic view of the country's landmark.

now, foodwise.. not just sushi. if u visit japan, u must've a taste of the famous kobe beef. we had it for B$150 per plate. b4 arriving on plate, it is said the cows'd enjoyed very well. they fed on beer, listened to music & given massage often. texture-wise? as tender as fish.

xmas is closing in.. wch leads to other i'd like to mention. despite the scarcity of christians close to 2%, the christmas env here is ineffable. they love christmas. i'd rather call it commercial xmas, than the real thing. any place wud be filled with music, decorated trees, santa clause, hats. u name it. its surprising.

k.. words wud be filled with life, but not more than pics. im enjoying this. im thru to 3rd year. nw to wait 2 more years for glory. here, a merry christmas & God bless.
